BackStopp™ Instructions

BackStopp™

BackStopp™ can be installed into any BackBoxx™ surround prior to attaching them to the ceiling or wall.  BackStopp can also be installed once the BackBoxx surround is mounted.

Using BackBoxx™ Original™

Clean the inside surface of the BackBoxx Orginal prior to installation.  Begin peeling the adhesive backing from one end of the BackStopp and place it against one end inside of the BackBoxx Original.  Continue alternately peeling several inches of backing and pressing onto the back wall of the BackBoxx Original until attachment is complete.

Using BackBoxx™ POPP™

  1. Clean the inside surface of the BackBoxx POPP prior to installation.  Cut a circle in the center of the BackStopp to match the dome in the center of the BackBoxx POPP.
  2. Install the outer portion of the BackStopp by peeling the adhesive backing from one end of the BackStopp and place it against one end of the BackBoxx POPP.  Continue alternately peeling several inches of backing and pressing onto the back wall of the BackBoxx POPP until attachment is complete.

  1. Decide if you will want the center dome of the BackBoxx POPP to remain in a downward position, or if you will want to push it upward prior to the speaker installation.

  1. If you leave the BackBoxx POPP dome in the downward position, peel the adhesive backing off of the previously cut circle of the BackStopp and adhere it to the dome.
  2. If you want to extend the center dome of the BackBoxx POPP, push the dome upward to fully extend it, smoothing out any uneven spots.  Peel the adhesive backing off of the previously cut circle of the BackStopp and adhere it to the dome.

Using BackBoxx™ JR™

Clean the inside surface of the BackBoxx JR prior to installation.  Cut the BackStopp to the correct size to fit your application.  Begin peeling the adhesive backing from one end of the BackStopp and place it against one end inside of the BackBoxx JR.  Continue alternately peeling several inches of backing and pressing onto the back wall of the BackBoxx JR until attachment is complete.
